Web Builder Integrated Software Suite
Free Calendar Module

Web Builder, our free web management software suite, includes a free personal calendar
module as of version 2.519. The calendar module is
touch friendly and mobile friendly as of version
6.073.
We offer Web Builder free to our web development clients as a way of thanking you for
letting us meet your service requirements when you order any complete web development
project (“web 1.0” projects not included.)
The calendar can be configured as private and personal, for
each member of your organization to keep track of daily planning and
upcoming events; or as public, to publish an organizational calendar of
events.
Maintain it easily on any computer where you have a
full keyboard. View it from your
mobile
device from anywhere in
the world. Your calendar can also be used as a things-to-do list or
configured for public use to display a schedule of events on your web
site. Like all our designs, it has a simple and elegant user
interface.
Our Calendar module is related to our
Appointment Scheduling module.

Privacy Issues
Unlike other online personal
calendars, which are mined for marketing research purposes (or published for
“social networking” purposes), our calendar is never
accessible by unintended parties. It is only online for the purpose
of making it more accessible to you. Make a given calendar account public or
private, you decide. Neither unauthorized members of your organization nor the
general
public can read your private personal calendar unless they know your personal
password or the system administrator password. Passwords for private personal
calendar accounts should not be shared. When you decide to set up a public
calendar account, there are two kinds of passwords: a read-write
password which you still keep private so that only you can make
changes, and a read-only password which enables the public to read
it.
Easy &
Accessible The purpose of keeping your calendar
online is so that you can maintain it from your desktop or laptop computer using a
full keyboard, yet access it from anywhere using the most popular
smartphones
and
touch-screen pad
computers.
Alarms
You can set
alarms to ring and remind you in advance of a calendar event. The alarm will ring
about 5 minutes before the event. In order for alarms to work properly, you must
keep the calendar page loaded in a browser window. The browser window can be
minimized or in a tab behind another page—the alarm will still ring. But if the
calendar page is not loaded, the alarm will not ring. So if you're expecting to hear
an alarm, you must remember to keep the calendar
page loaded. Alarms will only be useful if you
expect to be near your computer when the time arrives. Before counting
on an alarm to remind you of an important event, we suggest testing
the alarm function first to make sure you understand how it works and
to make sure your audio volume is set properly.
